Andrew Muge
Advocate
Andrew is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds an LLB Degree from The University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Prior to joining the Firm, Andrew started his legal career at the Premier Firm of Ashitiva Advocates LLP and at ESAL a subsidiary of Ashitiva Advocates LLP that specializes in Energy and Oil & Gas. He is a proud alumnus of the Lenana School (Changez) and often tells anyone who dares to ask.
Andrew leads our litigation practice and has had vast experience in various litigation matters in the past. Andrew’s passion is Litigation born of a natural inclination towards analyzing flawed logic, he is comfortable handling Complex Dispute Matters and Criminal Litigation. He has a strong interest in Administrative Law, Constitutionalism and Governance; and is also Certified Mediator with proven capability in Family, Commercial, Community and Labour mediation.
Andrew is also our legal APP administrator at Wakili 101 where he dabbles as a Web Application developer and is an adept LAMP Administrator – which drives his interest in IT Law revolving around the interplay between Data Privacy, social media, Web Technology and Anonymity. Andrew is many things in one and wears many hats. We call him “Mr. Fix it”, “the Hacker” or the “Chess Grandmaster”. He is extremely dependable, and he could take a bullet for the team any day. He is our match maker in the Dispute Resolution department.
Outside the realm of Law, Andrew is a chess grand master, and he enjoys watching documentaries as he sips his cold whitecap.
