Prior to joining MAK & Partners Advocates LLP, Wangui was Of Counsel at ALN Kenya – Anjarwalla & Khanna LLP (A&K). Before that, she served as Head of Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Kenya.

Wangui has fifteen years of experience in tax dispute resolution, including ten years at the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). Eight of those years were spent with the litigation team, and two with the Alternative Dispute Resolution team, where she was one of the initial ADR facilitators under the KRA ADR Framework. She possesses dispute resolution expertise across all areas of tax law, making her one of the most respected practitioners in the field.
